How a project comes together
- Walkthrough and estimate. Frank comes out, measures and talks through what you want. The estimate is free.
- Demo and prep. The old tile comes out and the surface gets fixed, leveled and waterproofed. You won’t see this part when it’s done, but it’s why the tile lasts.
- Setting and finishing. Tile goes in with a planned layout, clean cuts and even grout lines. The work area gets cleaned up at the end of every day.

Meet Frank
Frank L. Gonzalez, Founder
Frank has been setting tile for more than 30 years, working out of Upland and taking jobs across Southern California. Bathrooms and showers are most of what he does, along with kitchen floors, backsplashes and fireplaces.
It's a family business, so you're dealing with the same people the whole way through. If a layout isn't going to work, or the tile you picked won't hold up where you want it, Frank will say so before the work starts instead of after.
A lot of the job is the part nobody sees. On a shower, the waterproofing behind the tile decides whether it's still solid in ten years. That's where the time goes.
